Description Operation Arc Light was the 1965 deployment of B-52F Stratofortress as conventional bombers from bases in the US to Guam. Arc Light missions continued until the cessation of hostilities by all U.S. forces on August 15, 1973.

Personal Memories
Memories Participated in Operation Arc-Light with SAC. Maintained all flight records and stories of sorties made by allflight crews during tour of duty. Although did not partake in any flights, was still considered member of Combat Crew. The OIC was LtCol Harold Ledbetter. During one sortie to bring supplies to Thailand, I was onboard a B52 sitting in the rear near the tail gunner.
