Description
8 Dec 65 – 11 Nov 68; U.S. 2nd Air Division operation to interdict the Ho Chi Minh Trail in the lower portion of the Laotian panhandle, from Route 9 west of the DMZ, south to the Cambodian border and to reduce North Vietnamese infiltration down the trail into South Vietnam.

Air strikes against targets in southern Laos to interdict the flow of troops and supplies into the RVN. Evolved from and associated with Operation Steel Tiger.
