Memories
Wondering why I was there and who cared. Orders where to Ubon Thailand and as the war was winding down they sent crews to Saigon as Civilians (Black time ) That was not recorded. As well as closing of Ubon and moving me to guard the bomb dump 6 miles from the main base every night. So not sure how close the Agent Orange spray carries but I could feel it on my arms.  None of these are documented. which I would never do again and return to the US and fight with the VA over wind drift and 500 from the wire. I get all worked up when I hear excuses from them..  Oh yes another thing I was told being a young guy and thinking if i deserve a medal my supervisors would put me in for one..OH NO I WAS TOLD YOU WRITE IT UP AND WE WILL SIGN FOR THE VIETNAM CAMPAIGN RIBBON WELL I WAS STUPID OTHERS GO THEM I NEVER DID.. THANK YOU FOR MY SERVICE.
