Best Friends In the years 1966 thru 1969 this Teaching College (Normal School) was called "Central State College" and was located east of the town of Edmond, Oklahoma. Sometime after I attended the Name was changed when the State Ledgeslature granted University status to the school and the name changed to "Central State University". The University campus is now located in the "Down Town" area and I hardly recognize my school as it has grown so much. The "new" Libtary is very nice as is the Student Union.
