Last Known Activity:
Frank was a jockey most of his life outside his service in World War II and at the time of his death, was working out/training thoroughbreds for his employer, a doctor in New Albany, Indiana. He had just finished working out on one horse, got off the tell the doctor how the horse worked and was preparing to get into the saddle of a second horse when he fell to the ground. The doctor said there was nothing that could have been done, he died before he hit the ground of a massive heart attack and that he had had another heart attack within recent years the family knew nothing about. Frank once said he wanted to die with his boots on...he did...his riding boots were buried with him.
