 Additional Information
What are you doing now:
Retired. I worked with computers the majority of my career as an Operator,Tele Comm Analyst, and with CAD ( Computer Aided Design). I have been retired as of 2005. I do research in my spare time on the early Southern New Jersey glass industry, where the art of blowing glass by hand began in America. I also collect and study items from the F4 Phantom II fighter aircraft. I was a mechanic on the environmental systems on this plane in SEA at Ubon RTAFB,Thailand in 1969-70. I have a functioning Ejection Seat (minus rocket) out of a Vietnam era Phantom F4D, that I am currently working on.

I purchased this truck in 2005 from an owner of an autobody shop. He first chopped the roof 8 inches and painted it purple (Joe Camel) in 1991. I have had it painted in blue pearl and redone the interior in grey leather. I converted the 3 speed manual Saginaw transmission to a 4 speed M21 wide ratio Muncie manual transmission. I converted the 411 open rear to a 308 posi rear. It has eurostyle jeep CJ tailights that were recessed inside the rear fenders. The front clip of the truck is a 1968. The cab is 1972. The rear bed is 1973. The front grill has a custom billet insert and eurostyle haligen headlamps. To dress the doors up NOS import car bullet mirrors were added. The truck sits a bit higher in the back with higher and wider proflie tires. The exhaust exits in a stainless steel collector just to the front of the rear tires.
