On 10 May 1969, B-52D (#56-0593) belonging to the 509th Bomb Wing crashed in the Pacific Ocean shortly after take-off from Andersen AFB, Guam. (325th Bomb Squadron, 92nd Bomb Wing)
Captain Broadhead left a young wife and child at this death.

Crashed on take off from Andersen AFB, Guam (according to Ejection History site). part of "Operation Arc Light". His father was Lt.
