Captain Virgil Kelley was aboard a C-123K Provider (#54-0621) of the 19th Air Commando Squadron captained by the CO of 19th ACS that disappeared on a flight from Bien Hoa to Nha Trang near Bac Loc.
Four of the passengers were a Ranch Hand crew on their way to pick up their aircraft that had been repaired after battle damage.
TCaptain Kelley was interred in Bellevue Cemetery, Danville, Boyle County, Kentucky, Plot: Section 7, Lot SW 1/4, 43.
