Last Known Activity
A crew member of an RB-26C Invader of the 6166th Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, Airman Collins was lost while on a weather reconnaissance mission over Pyongyang, North Korea on February 22, 1952.  Contact with the aircraft was lost.  Airman Collins was listed as missing in action and presumed dead on December 31, 1953.

Airman Collins was posthumously awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
