 Additional Information
Last Known Activity
Boots date 27 Feb 1970 13th Air Force 12th TFW 12th USAF Hospital ------- TSgt Anderson passed away in Binh Dinh province. The 12th USAF Hospital was based in Cam Ranh Bay, which is in Khanh Hoa province, south of Binh Dinh. In March 1970, a month after TSgt Anderson arrived in Vietnam, the 12th Tactical Fighter Wing was moved to Phu Cat AB, which is in Binh Dinh. So, he must have been somehow assigned to an AFSC which necessitated that move vs. one which would have kept him with the 12th USAF in Cam Ranh, or for some reason he was in transit or TDY there.

I knew TSgt Anderson
I worked in the same office with TSgt Anderson at the USAF Dispensary, Phu Cat Air Base, RVN. On the day he passed away, he was on the flight line in an ambulance escorting patients on the air evac plane. He wasn't feeling well and called back to the dispensary for relief. I drove out the the flight line and relieved him as escort for the patients. When I returned to the dispensary, TSgt Anderson had passed away.
