Captain Oliver C. Chase, Jr., U.S. Air Force

Captain Chase was assigned to the 1st Air Commando Squadron, 6251st Tactical Fighter Wing, 13th Air Force out of Bien Hoa AB, RVN.   He was the a pilot of an A-1E (#52-131414) that was shot down and crashed at Binh Dinh village, South Viet Nam while making bombing and strafing runs.  His body was recovered by a helicopter.
