Last Known Activity
TSGT Clyde Hanson was killed on 11 February 1971 in a crash aboard UC123K Provider (Tail # 56-4373 during an Operation Ranch Hand defoliation sortie, while serving with the 310th Tactical Airlift Squadron of the 315th Tactical Airlift Wing then based a Phan Rang, South Vietnam. Also aboard were 1st Lt. Richard Okeefe, 1st Lt. Charles Deas, Lt Col Daniel Tate and MSgt Donald Dunn.


   
Comments/Citation
NOTE: Tsgt  Hanson's years in service and AFSC are unknown, though it is likely he joined the Air Force in the early 1950's after graduation from high school. He may have been a loadmaster, but cannot at this point confirm it.
