Last Known Activity:

Clyde Lee Lewis was an Instructor Pilot during WW II in Victoria, Texas. He also remained in the US Air Force Reserves and flew missions during the Cuban Missile Crisis and flew C-9 Nightingale Missions to and from Southeast Asia during the Viet Nam Conflict. Clyde retired from the US Air Force Reserves with the rank of Major in 1976.

Clyde was a local businessman in Illinois for many years.
He was the owner of Lewis Hardware and was self-employed as a handy-man specializing in plumbing and electrical work.
