Bill lived in Arkansas, near Little Rock, before he died. He lived in Oklahoma City, OK after he was discharged from the Air Force. He was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and the medicines he was taking made him fall asleep at the wheel.

Bill was a people person and he loved working on vehicles. He was into radio-controlled model planes and most of all he had the gift of gab.
