This Remembrance Profile was originally created by Sgt Stephen Willcox - Deceased
Major Johnson was the pilot of an F105D Aircraft on a combat mission over North Vietnam While diving on a bombing run near Quang Khe, the aircraft was seen to break into flames and break up in the air, making it unlikely that he survived the crash. No parachute was seen and no emergency radio beeper signals were heard.
