I WAS SECURING AN A/C (B-47E) THAT I WAS ASSIGNED TO >DURING THUNDER STORM AND AFTER SHE hAD BEEN ON ALERT FOR 18 HRS. THE DEBRIEFING TRUCK CAME TO PICKUP THE AIRCREW . JUST THIN MY CREW/ GROUND MAINTENANCE SAID THEY SEEN THIS FLASH OF LIGHT AND AT THE SAME TIME HEARD AN AWESOME NOISE . THEY SAW ME ON THE TARMAC SMOKING. THEY TOOK IT THAT I WAS DEAD! BUT IT WAS MEANT FOR ME TO TRY TO HELP OTHERS FIND WHO WAS WITH ME THAT TRAUMATIC EVENT OCCURRED. MY BROTHER I HAVE nOT TOLD THIS STORY BEFORE< ON FACEBOOK.. I was a civi when i pulled mantence on the tweety-t-37 asigned to A F base spence field @ Moultrie ga. It was traing Base for the T-6 texan 1940-& 1950's if i rember correct.They where shuting down the hawthorn wing when iu signed up. The sight is www.spence-air-base.com/memories.html
