Between Aug-63 and Aug-64 serving as a missile mechanic with the 389th Missile Maintenance Squadron our APCHE Team assisted in the loading of approximately a dozen Atlas D missiles on Douglas C-133 Loadmasters at FE Warren AFB, Cheyenne,WY.
I also escorted half of those missiles being shipped on the C-133 from FE Warren, AFB, Wyoming to Vandenberg, AFB and Norton, AFB in California during 1963 and 1964 standing missile tank watch during flights.
