Actually retired.; I find and restore classic cars, also collect anything to do with the gasoline and oil industry. I have several vintage cars and a building full of old gas pumps, oil cans, and signs, etc.
Other Comments:
I enjoyed being my own boss for a number of years. I had several business doing upholstery, commercial, auto, and furniture.
It was a common practice for airmen to volunteer for temporary duty aboard some aircraft in vietnam, dropping flares at night and leaflets during the day. I was no exception, and it was an easy way to earn your aircrew wings. It came to an abrupt halt when one mission a TSgt with a large family was kiilled in action. So they stopped the volunteer program.
