 Additional Information
Last Known Activity:

He played on the freshman football team while a student at Alabama Polytechnic Institute, later Auburn University, before his wartime service. After the war, he finished his degree at the University of Alabama. He is probably the only Alabama graduate to have played football at Auburn.
After college, he went on to become a very well-known and respected test pilot. He is honored in the Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame.
