Last Known Activity:

He seems to have served as an enlisted man for about 2 years before going to flight school but his assignments are unknown. In 1945, he was involved in the Freeman Field Mutiny (see link below). There are indications that he joined the reserves sometime after WWII and served long enough to at some point fly B-52's; but there is no documentation of that. Also, if he had served additional years, he would have surely attained a higher rank; but the highest rank shown for him is 2nd Lt.
