	Aircraft/Missile Information One B-29-BW (42-6412) was fitted with special camera installations for photographic reconnaissance work and redesignated F-13 (in the F- for photo reconnaissance series). The standard bombing equipment and defensive armament were retained. An additional 117 B-29-BWs and B-29As were similarly modified as F-13 and F-13A to carry three K-17B, two K-22 and one K-18 cameras with provisions for others. In 1948, the F-13s were redesignated RB-29 and RB-29A.
