I am working as a police officer and going to school for a master's degree in school guidance counseling. I will retire in December of 2010 and hope to find a guidance position.

Best Friends I went to basic with my cousin Steve Hurst. I met some great guys; Tony "D" (The Star) Martin, Danny McDermott (Dorm Chief), Jose Miranda, Brad (Radar, Casper, Dorothy, Dopey, The Human Squiggy) Park.
Best Moment Not sure. I met a girl named Judy while at the PX. I am a sucker for ladies in uniform! I got to march new recruits to the Chapel, and it got me out of cleaning details on Sundays. But I enjoyed it too.
Worst Moment I fell asleep on my bunk when we were supposed to be sitting on our footlockers reading, and the TI caught me. He flipped my bunk and then made everyone go outside, while he tore the bay apart. We were just ready for a redline inspection. It took him minuts to tear it up and hours to get ready again. I was not very popular for awhile.
