  An honor: Nov 17, 2014

I have come to know Don over the years through our research work on the Fallen from the Wars of the past, particularly WWII; and through the generous receipt and reading of his book about his war in Korea, Winter's Road.  I hope you all have an opportunity to find and get a copy for yourselves, worth reading.

I cannot say enough about the goodness of this man, a true gentleman in the full sense of that word.   A rare man in these days. I'd have followed you through hell had I served with you.

So, here's wishing you a good journey, Don, along this path we all share on a daily basis.  Thank you for your diligence in honroring our fallen.  And for your own service, my gratitude.

Best to you my friend.
