The 360th Recruiting Group, commanded by Col. Christopher L. Wheeler, is the U.S. Air Force headquarters directing the recruiting activities of eight recruiting squadrons with approximately 900 active-duty and civilian personnel. The group's nine recruiting squadrons include the 311th, 313th, 314th, 317th, 318th, 319th, 337th, 338th and 339th. Chief Master Sgt. Brad Buening is the group superintendent. The 360th RCG is situated in 332 recruiting offices and 14 Military Entrance Processing Station liaison teams in 19 states from the Canadian border to South Carolina and westward to Michigan. It also directs U.S. Air Force recruiting activities in the District of Columbia and Europe.
Group headquarters is located in New Cumberland, Pa., at the Defense Distribution Center Susquehanna. The group's mission is to recruit quality men and women from these locations to sustain the combat capability of the U.S. Air Force.
