Today SSgt. Dorman Gunter, of the 763rd BS, completed his 50th Mission, with the target being the Hatvan Marshalling Yards in Hungary. He flew a total of 243.30 hours in combat, and most of his missions on an aircraft called "Belle Ringer." Note: This aircraft was flown by a different crew on 13 Jun 44, lost an engine due to oil pressure on engine #1, landed in Switzerland at Dubendorf, where the aircraft sat out the war.
