Activated on 5 Oct 1944.  Inactivated on 31 May 1946. 
Activated on 6 Oct 1946.  Inactivated on 2 Jun 1949. 
Consolidated (16 Oct 1984) with the 12^th Reconnaissance Intelligence Technical Squadron, Command/Mobile, which was constituted, and activated, on 15 Dec 1967. 
Organized on 15 Feb 1968.   Inactivated on 15 Mar 1973. 
Redesignated 12^th Reconnaissance Technical Squadron on 16 Oct 1984. 
Redesignated 12^th Expeditionary Intelligence Squadron, and converted to provisional status, on 19 Nov 1998.  Activated on 1 Dec 1998.
