Capt. Clarence E "Bud" Anderson Jr., Newcastle, CA, 363rd Fighter Squadron. P-51B 43-6723 B6-S "Old Crow". This was the first of Bud Anderson's three assigned P-51s all of which he named after the well known brand of rye whiskey. This a/c was lost on 21 February 1944 with Lt. Alfred R Boyle, Hollywood, CA, becoming a POW. To the right is Bud�??s close friend Jim Browning who was later to be killed in a mid-air collision. Photo: Col. Anderson via Jim Anderson
