Captain, Don Hood, was a member, of the 602nd, Air Commando, Squadron, flying A-1E, Skyraiders, out, of Bien Hoa, Air Base, RVN.. His aircraft collided, in mid-air, with another Skyraider, flown by Captain, Donald Patch, also a member, of the 602nd, ACS., while on a close, air support mission, in Binh Dinh Province.
