"Army air Force Technicians Badge: AAF enlisted technicians and mechanics have been authorised towear a distinctive silver badge indicating the skills in which they are qualified. Qualifications" At least 6 months service in the AAF and either grasduation from an authorised course in techical trainingor evidence of capability in one or more of the following 24 specialties for which the badge has been designated:
