B-52H 60-0049 In Weapons Up-Load 1970. When we were hooking up the tow bar to take her to the Alert Pad lightning struck the ground just feet from the tow crew and knocked us all to the ground. No one was hurt, but badly shaken was what we called the moment. Tow crew was SSgt. R. Taylor, SSgt. R. Tobolski, J. Sgt. Raley, Sgt. S. Wilczynski, and Sgt. A. Miller.
