Other Memories
My direct duty A/3c assignment after coming back into tha AF after a shade over a year break. TDY to Thule Greenland in Dec, '62.
We still have our sun taned skin from being deployed to Mac Dill, Fla for the Cuban Crisis. We sure get some strange looks.
While there me and a buddy were walking around trying to find the BX we are all wrapped up in our artic gear and a guy approaches us and asks us where the BX is, and my buddy (with a straight face) tells him I don't know I've been the dark ever since I got here. The guy didn't know weather to hit him or kiss him. Still funny after all these years.
