C-123k Spray Bird (

from  1970-1971, UC-123B/K Provider  album
We were standing next to a C-123k Ranch Hand Spray bird we worked on in Vietnam.. It was nick-named "Patches", due to all the ground hits from the enemy while spraying agent orange... At that time, there were over 567 hits from ground fire, and 4 Purple Hearts awarded to the crew members, flying this plane..... (Notice the four purple hearts on the plane under the 567 hits)..

Don't know what ever happened to John Snyder as we lost track of each other after leaving Vietnam, in 1971.:-(
