Last Known Activity:

He was on a reconaissance mission over the Ho Chi Minh Trail in central Laos when his plane disappeared. He was declared MIA 8/9/69 and designated died while missing 11/29/78. His remains were found 2/11/2001 and identified 8/9/2002. He was promoted to major 12/9/69 while on MIA status.
