Lt. Joseph Wilson was lost in an air crash of his F-4E aircraft over land incident (no details) while serving with the 469th Tactical Fighter Squadron out of Korat RTAFB, Thailand.


He was the son of Lt. General Joseph G. Wilson.


Note:  The F-4E from Eglin AFB, Florida, were newly established as of November 1968, replacing the F-105s.
